Letters of credit Letters of Credit are created between the exporter and the Importer, only through SLCB, thereby allowing secure and financial risk-free business deal between both parties. The importers issues a letter of credit also called an L/C or Documentary Credit, which guarantees the exporter's payment for goods or services, provided the terms of the L/C are met.

Letters of guarantee If the conclusion of a deal depends on a guarantee, SLCB can request issuance of a letter of Guarantee through Commercial Bank OF Syria branches according to the Syrian laws and regulations.

Documentary Collection SLCB acts as a mediator for banking services between local banks, private companies and the CBS branches, for smoother and quicker commercial transactions.

Foreign Exchange SLCB provides foreign exchange dealing services to businesses trading internationally, which buy or sell foreign exchange for commercial and individual transactions.
